Progress Reel + Thanks!

Hey, there; I've recently uploaded my progress reel to my site containing the two projects I've finished that will be in the final reel.

Before you check it out, I'd like you to keep track of something while it's loading - firstly, if it loads at all; it requires a minimum Flash version of 9.0.115.

Secondly, keep an eye on how fast the video loads relative to the playback speed; I'd like to increase the quality for my final reel, but I don't want it to stall out on people with slower connections. The loaded portion is the dark bar behind your playback position. I'd really appreciate feedback regarding this! (:

That loaded like 1 second. I timed it, the entire thing loaded in 1 second. lolol

The quality is a little low so I can see it being improved a little bit and still load pretty fast.

My internet speed is 11 Mbps. D: maybe thats why..

But pretty siteee. o: *thumbsup*

It loaded pretty fast for me, about the same rate as the playback, and I work at 256 Kbps.

Nice website design too. =)

Sweet gravy, you have a fast connection. I can slightly increase the quality without increase in size when I export the movie, otherwise I need to look more into H.264 compression settings - someone else with 256Kbps said it loaded about as fast as it played for them with my current setting, which means it's just small enough to work for your conventional broadband.

For you I could probably upload at original HD 720. :lol: You running at uni or are you just loaded?

It loaded awfully fast for me. Ran pretty smooth as well, with only one point of fuzziness around the 45 sec. mark. Other than that, it looks top notch.

Looks like it loads quite quickly for some and just right for others as it is now - the one up there now will be 'low' once I have alternate qualities up.
